Introduction

Welcome to the Hosts' area of the BAE Systems Education Programme Work Experience website.

The aim of this area is to provide support for employees who already are, or who are interested in becoming Hosts' for students wishing to do work experience at a BAE Systems site.

The Work Experience website has been developed to provide young people with as much information and support as possible to help them to make an informed choice when considering placements for work experience at a BAE Systems site.

In this section we have included some downloads which we hope will be of some use to you to help make your students placement as positive experience as possible. These include a Host Information Pack with useful templates and information to support what you do, an example of an 'induction presentation' covering key areas of importance for a student induction, the Key Skills pack that the student will be asked to fill out while they are with you (for your reference), examples of day long and week long activity that you may want to use as a model for your site/area, and a business simulation activity presentation that can be used as part of a group placement.
